From the first moment I stepped foot on Front Range Christian’s campus I knew that it was something special.
I hope you felt it, too.
From day one, staff members, whom I didn’t yet know, not only knew my son’s name and grade but also the names of all my children who are not yet enrolled! If you haven’t already heard it from someone on campus, FRCS is a place where every child is known and loved. I love how this relates to learning services.
I get to spend hours every week in small groups or individual sessions, bouncing from student to student while persevering through a poem interpretation, analyzing algebraic word problems, discussing discipleship in the church, and so much more. After being a classroom teacher for years, having the opportunity to sit with small groups of students fills me with joy as I have the opportunity to share with them with a level of closeness that is quite unique to my role.
Each student who comes to my room has strengths and weaknesses that are an intricate part of who God created them to be. In Scripture, high value is placed on these differences as part of his plan for the Body of Christ. Learning services has a special role in supporting weaknesses and accentuating strengths and, as such, functions as a sort of microcosm of the church.
We are so thankful for each student our community has entrusted to us.
