I have always loved the atmosphere at FRCS. Every staff member genuinely cares about the school and their students. I love that FRCS focuses on biblical instruction. I also love how connected the families are strong relationships that they form.
Five books, other than the Bible, that have impacted my faith or career.
- Unplanned by Abby Johnson (I love the Pro-Life movement and reading this book, meeting the author, and attending the March For life made me so thankful for my own personal adoption story and fueled my passion about the sanctity of life.)
- 90 Minutes in Heaven by Don Piper (I love this book and made me excited and curious about what eternity looks like with our Creator.)
- A Man Called Norman by Mike Adkins (This is a great story my dad read to me growing up about loving your neighbor as yourself.)
- The Dream Giver by Bruce Wilkinson (Another book my dad read to me growing up, a story about following your God-Given Destiny.)
- You Are What You Love by James L. Smith (This book I received at my high school graduation about the power of habits and being conscious of my sinful nature.)
When I am not teaching, I love to be active and social. I love traveling and getting to see the world. I enjoy all sports and play on adult soccer and volleyball teams. Some of my hobbies include drawing, painting, dancing and being creative. I love people and spending quality time playing games, camping, fishing and going to concerts.
I am someone who loves people and loves Jesus. I rarely say no to social events and I am always ready to have a day packed full of fun. I am thankful for the family that God has given me. I have a joyful look on life and love praising our creator.
