Danny Cometto is the Chairman of the Board for Front Range Christian School.
As we head to the start of a new academic year, I look forward to the buzz and excitement as the faculty return to campus and prepare to have students back in their classrooms. I warmly welcome all those who are joining our community—students, parents, teachers, and staff. Thank you for choosing to become part of our family. We look forward to partnering with you on this remarkable journey.
I am privileged to chair a dedicated team of board members who are committed to creating a Christ-centered environment for our students. This year, as a board, we have embraced a new devotional theme: Seek, Surrender, Be Sanctified. This theme reflects our deep desire to seek Jesus and His wisdom and direction, surrender our own plans to the Father’s perfect will, and open ourselves to the Holy Spirit’s sanctifying work. Through this, we aim to continue stewarding FRCS through Christ and for Christ. Please continue to pray for us on this journey.
In Galatians 5, the apostle Paul describes the fruit of the Spirit as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. By looking for this fruit in all that we do as a school community, we can gauge how well we are walking with the Spirit. Take a moment to watch the “Welcome to Front Range Christian School” video. Through the voices of our students and parents, you will hear how the fruit of the Spirit permeates every aspect of our school life. It is a testament to the work of the Holy Spirit within our community.
Teachers, welcome back. I look forward to seeing you around campus and pray for you as you gear up for the arrival of students. Students, I hope you are enjoying your summer. Relax, have fun, but also keep your mind engaged. Don’t forget about those reading lists. Parents, I hope you are enjoying time with your children. I think we are about halfway through summer break.
Thank you all for your partnership in preparing Christian scholars who are culture makers for Christ!
