The musical for 2025 has not yet been selected, but preliminary information about auditions follows.

Everyone who auditions needs to have read and completed the Audition Packet (a link will be provided once it is finished for 2025).

Jr/Sr High Ensemble Auditions: January 9

• Include group dancing and singing — you will work with Mrs. Rice on choreography and Mrs. Nikkel on singing
• Everyone should attend, even those auditioning for main characters
• 3:15-5pm on January 9

Jr/Sr High Main Character Auditions: January 9

• Must sign up for an audition slot outside Mrs. Payne’s room — even if you want a smaller role (after main character positions are cast, we fill smaller roles with those who came to the main character auditions)
• To audition, prepare a song and a monologue (suggestions on the board outside Mrs. Payne’s and Mrs. Nikkel’s rooms — you can even sign up to receive help in preparing for your audition!)
• Beginning at 5:30 on January 9

Call Backs

• By invitation only; those invited will be posted outside Mrs. Payne’s room and notified by email
• During callbacks, students will read various portions of the script as different characters and will be asked to sing songs from the musical– this gives the directors an opportunity to see them in different roles before final casting decisions are made
• Beginning at 3:15pm on January 10

Cast Announcement

• The Jr/Sr High Cast list is announced on January 12
• All students who auditioned will receive an email with the full cast list
