About the Coaches
Amanda Deich is heading into her second year as Head Varsity Volleyball Coach at Front Range Christian School. An experienced collegiate player, she played outside hitter all four years of college. She earned Academic All-American and All-Conference honors while she was in college and was voted captain of her team for two of her four years. She has coached club volleyball and assisted in top-tier volleyball camps for over a decade.
Ashley Hulley is also in her second year coaching volleyball at FRCS. As a former defensive specialist/libero at the University of Colorado, she and her team competed in the NCAA Div I tournament two out of her four years playing, and they boasted two separate regular season wins against the top-ranked Nebraska Huskers. She has several years coaching experience at local clubs, high schools, college camps, and clinics. Her favorite part of the game is technical skills development, and she has a plethora of positional expertise to share, no matter the athlete’s playing position.
Amanda and Ashley are both teachers. They wholeheartedly believe in the equal development of the student and the athlete. In their own words, “Discipleship is extremely important to us. Volleyball is an amazing game, and we push our athletes in conditioning and skill-development to reach their fullest potential. But in everything we do, we will focus on our identity in Christ. That’s what will lay the foundation for our performance in games, in the classroom, and in our individual and collective futures.”
