Marital and Legal Relationship Status of Parents
Parents who are divorced and families that go through a divorce while their student is enrolled at FRCS must supply the school with copies of rulings in the divorce documents that may affect the school situation of the student. If changes are made to these legal documents, copies of these changes or updates must be given to the school. Until that point, FRCS operates at the discretion of the most recent documents in the school’s files. This includes, but is not limited to, references to parenting time and decision making, especially in regard to school and education. Other documents or court orders that might impact your child at school should also be shared with FRCS (e.g., restraining orders). Please note that in some instances photographs may be helpful to office personnel in identifying other parties. Copies of such documents must be submitted to the school in a timely manner.
