Finding Joy in Serving
Discipleship Motors began in one of Front Range Christian School’s dGroups. Encouraged by the group leader, the boys wanted to find a way to serve together as a group. With each having a desire to learn to work on cars, Discipleship Motors was born.
The goal of the group is to learn how to repair cars while blessing families, individuals, moms, and windows in need. In addition, the boys are learning the value of being able to work with their hands and finding joy in using their gifts and talents to serve others. It is, as they say, a win-win for everyone.
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. ~ James 1:27
If you would like to encourage the work these boys are doing, we invite you to consider giving a gift, joining them in their work, or sharing a note of encouragement. And please pray for God’s continuing work in the hearts and minds of these young men and for the families who are the recipients of their service.
