Allow me to introduce FRCS’s new Head Baseball Coach, John Rumsey!
John Rumsey comes to Front Range Christian High School with over 20 years of coaching experience in California and Colorado. Working as a hitting instructor, special assistant, head coach and program director, Rumsey has worn many hats in the game of baseball. Rumsey is excited for the opportunity to bring his passion and experience to further build onto the success of the FRCS program.
A standout player at Coronado High School, Rumsey attended San Diego State University, San Diego City College and San Diego Mesa Community College. At San Diego Mesa, Rumsey was the 2003 Pacific Coast Conference Player of the Year and was drafted by the Minnesota Twins. After his playing days concluded, Rumsey earned his bachelor’s degree from Cal State Channel Islands University in 2008.
A native of Imperial Beach, California, Rumsey and his wife, Janeena, moved to the beautiful state of Colorado in 2011. Coach Rumsey’s new FRCS email is
