My favorite thing about FRCS is the strong partnerships between the school and families. It is such a loving and caring community that sincerely cares about every student. My family came to FRCS for the ’22/’23 school year, during which my daughter attended the homeschool program. I loved that not only were there great opportunities for students, there were equal opportunities for parents to get involved. We built some great relationships and knew early on that we did not want our daughter to go to any other school. We are beyond thrilled to have her going to the full-time program for senior high.
Five books, other than the Bible, that have impacted my faith or career.
It is challenging to pick only five books that have impacted my life to support my growth as a wife, mother, and in my career, but here are a few that stand out to me:
- Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer
- The Five Love Languages: The Secret to Love that Lasts by Gary Chapman
- The Power of a Praying Mom: Powerful Prayers for You and Your Children by Stormie Omartian
- 100 Ways to Love Your Husband: The Simple, Powerful Path to a Loving Marriage by Lisa Jacobson
- Who Moved My Cheese? by Spencer Johnson
I LOVE spending time with my family, my husband and two children. It doesn’t matter what activity we are doing, I simply enjoy being in their company and cherish every moment. I enjoy being outside and going for long walks. We as a family enjoy cooking, we tend to host most of the holidays and enjoy providing others with delicious food that include, but are not limited to, Mexican, Italian, and BBQ dishes.
I like to start my day with a cup of coffee, sitting outside whenever I can, enjoying time with God and admiring His creation. My husband and I will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary this year and we share the same birthday. I enjoy supporting others to grow and accomplish their goals.
