I love the students and the opportunity to point them to Christ.
Five (or more…) books, other than the Bible, that have impacted my faith or career.
- Revolution in Generosity edited by Wes Wilmer (an amazing collection of essays on the transformational process of stewarding God’s resources)
- How to Master the Art of Selling by Tom Hopkins (at 23, I was a sponge for the art of persuasion)
- Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway by Susan Jeffers (in my early adulthood, I was able to understand what motivated me and how to overcome fear, comfort, and inactivity)
- The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino (this book taught me hot to put my faith above all else!)
- The 10 Natural Laws of Successful Time Management by Hyrum Smith (this book taught me how to plan my work, work my plan, and that my plan would work)
- The Laws of Leadership by John Maxwell (I loved this book because it affirmed my leadership skills and guided me to love others and go for it unapologetically)
- The Art of Leadership by John Wooden (a treasure of information about using sports to teach character and determination)
I love taking my family and friends to watch baseball. I love woodworking. I love teaching stewardship and generosity. I am most blessed when I am with my family laughing!
My favorite personal memory verse is Ephesians 5:1-2 – “Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”
