As I begin my second year at FRCS, I am excited to announce that I will be the ECE office administrator. Not only will I get to serve the students and families that come through the ECE, but I will also be able to serve my team members in the ECE and Front Range Christian. I am looking forward to the challenges and new opportunities this position will afford me.
Five books, other than the Bible, that have impacted my faith or career.
- The Power of Being Thankful by Joyce Meyer
- The Book of Joy by Tenzin Gyatso, Desmond Tutu and Douglas Abrams
- The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren
- The Creative Curriculum for Preschool by Diane Trister Dodge, Laura J. Colker, and Cate Heroman
- Conscious Discipline by Dr. Becky A. Bailley
When I am not at FCRS, I love spending time with my family. My husband and I are avid CSU Rams fans, and, in the fall, you can find us attending football games at Canvas Stadium with our daughters. I love walking, reading, and caring for my 11-year-old Bichon Frise, Gibson.
For the past 20 years I have co-led both of my daughter’s girl scout troops. As my youngest is now attending CSU, it is time for me to find a new hobby! I completed golf lessons last fall, but surgery last spring delayed my first chance to play golf. Now that I am healed, I hope to get out onto the golf course soon! I am looking forward to the exciting changes this year has to offer.
