I am honored to be in a community where everyone can be themselves and embrace our merciful God. I am overjoyed to serve the Lord while helping those who need extra help.
Five books, other than the Bible, that have impacted my faith or career.
- New Morning Mercies by Paul David Tripp
- Rising Strong as a Spiritual Practice by Brene Brown
- Get Out of Your Head by Jennie Allen
- The Power of Vulnerability by Brene Brown
- Parenting by Paul David Tripp
I love spending quality with my family, especially outdoors (hiking, pool, camping, traveling).
I love creative outlets. I love creating things for my kids (quiet books, art projects, forts, etc.), for my job (fun and engaging educational resources), and for my house (decorations, furniture restorations, etc.).
I absolutely love cereal. I love it so much that I have been gifted artwork made of cereal, huge cereal bowls, and specific bowls for cereal to separate extra cereal and the milk. I love ALL cereal, except for chocolate or peanut butter cereal. When I first moved out on my own, I was on a “cereal diet” and ate cereal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and sometimes I would even have it for dessert. Now that I am older, I have to put limitations on how much cereal I am able to have during the week, because I could still eat it for every meal.
