I love that we can pray with students and walk along side with them on their journey with Christ. I love how my own children have been challenged to think for themselves and I have seen them grow in their own personal relationship with Jesus. It is a great community of believers.
Five books, other than the Bible, that have impacted my faith or career.
- Believing God by Beth Moore
- The Hole in Our Gospel: What Does God Expect of Us? The Answer that Changed My Life and Might Just Change the World by Richard Stearns
- The Short List: In a Life Full of Choices, There Are Only Four that Matter by Bill Butterworth
- The Connected Child: Bring Hope and Healing to Your Adoptive Family by Dr. Karen Purvis
- Sensational Kids: Hope and Help for Children with Sensory Processing Disorder by Dr. Lucy Miller
I enjoy being with my family. We love to go fishing, hiking and spending time in the Colorado Mountains. I love watching my kids play sports and walking our 2 dogs. I am also a member of a local Chorale and we perform at different venues.
I like to read lots of children’s books. I am passionate about advocacy for people with disabilities. I have served on many committees with Children’s Hospital Colorado and The Sensory Processing Disorder Foundation.
