Front Range’s dedication to pursue (and pursue well) the True, the Good, and the Beautiful, in communion with one another, is the fundamental reason why I chose to teach here. However, I would be remiss to mention that I attended Front Range from 7th through 12th grade, and feel deeply grateful for the opportunity to give back to a community that gave so much to me.
Five books, other than the Bible, that have impacted my faith or career.
- Only the Lover Sings: Art and Contemplation by Josef Pieper
- Hannah Coulter by Wendell Berry
- Pachinko by Min Jin Lee
- Paradise Lost by John Milton
- A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens
When not in the classroom, you can usually find me in one of two places: the library or the kitchen. I love to read, bake (lemon tarts, sourdough, bagels… you name it!), see a play or a musical, and spend time with my three younger siblings.
I won the award for Best Stupid Human Trick in high school… but I won’t tell you what it is.
