I love FRCS because of the God-centered education that it provides to students and families. In a world that is so lost in its search for identity and truth, FRCS points back to the foundation of the world, the hands of a loving God.
Five books, other than the Bible, that have impacted my faith or career.
- The Seven Laws of Teaching by John Milton Gregory
- Wild at Heart by John Eldredge
- Classroom Management that Works by Marzano
- Eight Habits for Growth by Daryl Dash
- Leadership Lessons of Jesus by Robert Briner
I enjoy spending time outside hiking and enjoying God’s creation, I also love reading books to learn more about my profession and my own personal growth, I enjoy swimming and feeling like I am in my own world, and finally I love seeing God’s creativity on display through the performing arts.
I come from a very similar background as many of the students that will be passing through FRCS. In that time I had the chance to grow with in my faith and my academics and making lifelong friendships. I believe that because of this fact I have the unique opportunity to relate to students and walk alongside them as they pursue academic excellence and a Christ-like life.
