The community as FRCS is one that I love and cherish. It’s a community that is passionate about God, serving, and being a part of your life. I believe that the FRCS community is something not many other schools have. I also love the discipleship program at FRCS. It’s a wonderful thing, not only for the students, but also for me as a leader. There are times when I feel like I’ve learned more than the students have.
Five books, other than the Bible, that have impacted my faith or career.
- Quiet Strength by Tony Dungy
- Through My Eyes by Tim Tebow
- Wooden by Coach John Wooden with Steve Jamison
- The Keeper: A Life of Saving Goals and Achieving Them by Tim Howard
- Teammates Matter by Alan Williams
I love spending time with my family and going to my kids’ soccer games, baseball games, dance recitals, or anything that they are a part of. I also love to fish! Anytime I can get away to a pond, lake, or stream, I am there. I am also a sports junkie. I love playing sports, watching sports, and just somehow being a part of sports.
I am a missionary kid. My family moved to Honduras when I was starting my seventh grade year, and we stayed till I graduated high school from Academia Los Pinares. My parents are currently still down there teaching and following God’s heart. So, I have a passion for missions and serving others. FRCS has been great about following God’s heart and wanting students to experience service and missions. I have taken a group down to Honduras for six years for Practicum!
