Joined FRCS in September 2020
Having graduated from Front Range Christian after spending the entirety of my K-12 years here, I’ve been incredibly impressed with the consistency of this school’s heart and mission. FRCS’s unwavering dedication to both discipleship and Christian scholarship has fostered a community that is relationally-minded, educationally challenging, and ultimately concerned with whole-person formation. There’s just something about this place that’s truly good, and I’m grateful to be a part of it.
Five books, other than the Bible, that have impacted my faith or career.
- The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russel
- A Severe Mercy by Sheldon Vanauken
- To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
- The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis
- A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles
When I’m not teaching or attempting to tackle my ever-growing reading list, I spend most of my time drinking coffee or tea, enjoying game nights with good friends, dreaming about travel, and playing with the greatest dog in the world, Holly.
I am always in the mood for Chick-fil-A, a game of spike ball, or an episode of the Great British Baking Show—arguably the UK’s most valuable contribution to the world. I spent my first year of college in Boston, so New England has my heart, and I have a strange, rather unexplainable love for gorillas.
