The Elementary Falcon Discovery Center (FDC) Library Project helps fund the redesign vision proposed by our 5th and 6th grade Explore classes. There are three ways that you can participate in this project.

UPDATE: SALE EXTENDED
As we welcome new carpet and a fresh paint scheme to the FDC (Falcon Discover Center, aka Elementary Library), it is time to say good-bye to some beloved FDC icons. This includes our Lion, Tom Sawyer Loft, Jungle Book Chairs, and some great work tables. This is your chance to take a piece of your child’s school day home! All proceeds from the sale of these items will go directly to buying new, flexible seating for the FDC.
- This sale is open until 11:59pm on Monday, April 18
- To bid or make an offer, complete the short form for the appropriate item; please note that this is not an “auction,” as each participant will only make one bid/offer (except in the event of a tie)
- In the event of a tie for highest offer, the highest bidders will be given an opportunity to change their offer until a winner emerges.
- Winners will be notified on Tuesday, April 19, with instructions for making payment and arranging pickup of the items.

Sturdy Work Tables

The Jungle Book Lion
The Jungle Book LionThis lion has watched over the FDC since 2007. It is hand-painted and attached to a wood frame which disassembles in sections.
Tom Sawyer Reading Loft
Tom Sawyer Reading LoftThis lofted reading nest would be great in the corner of a bedroom or family room. Securely fastened to the wall, it provides a unique space for kids to snuggle up with a good book. The ladder is attached (and therefore included). Great storage or snuggle space under the loft, too! The pillows are not included.
Red Pillows
Red PillowsThese four red pillows are offered as a set. Great for snuggling or a family pillow fight.
Black Pedestal Chair
Black Pedestal ChairPerfect for snuggling up to a good book or a cup of hot cocoa, this black pedestal chair has a solid oak base. It even swivels!
Black Vinyl Chair
Black Vinyl ChairThis vinyl chair comes with a slide-out ottoman which can be pulled out for added comfort and pushed in to save space. Easy to clean and comfortable to sit in, this versatile chair could work in nearly any room.
Comfortable Club Chairs
Comfortable Club ChairsThese comfortable club chairs have invited children to curl up and read for years. Now they can be yours. Taupe colored, leather chairs with wood feet. These chairs are offered individually, but can be sold as a set, as well.
