Front Range Christian School
Tuition and Continuous Enrollment Agreement
CONTINUOUS ENROLLMENT:
In order to provide our families with an enrollment process that is seamless, simplified and paperless we have adopted a Continuous Enrollment system where students are continually enrolled from their initial admission into the school until they graduate from Front Range Christian High School.
As a family maintains their Continuous Enrollment, each student’s information (i.e. address, phone, email, emergency contacts, and medical information) is continuous from grade to grade in the student information system. FRCS will help to maintain the records by reminding parents to provide updated information, as necessary, using the Family Portal.
Each January, FRCS will publish the following school year’s tuition rates, the annual Continuous Enrollment Fee amount, and information regarding tuition assistance.
CONTINUOUS ENROLLMENT FEE:
One Continuous Enrollment Fee (CEF) per student will be billed to the family’s account each year.
- Families with monthly FACTS payments: The CEF payment will be divided and included in the family’s remaining FACTS payments for the current school year, beginning in March.
- Families who pay tuition in full or by semester do not have monthly FACTS payments: Their CEF will be divided and collected over March, April and May through FACTS.
Families can also opt to pay the Continuous Enrollment Fee in full by February 20 directly to FRCS via check or cash.
After February 28, the Continuous Enrollment Fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
TUITION PAYMENT SCHEDULE:
International Students – International student tuition is due in semester payments by July 31 and December 15.
Full Payment – The following year’s tuition, when paid in full by May 31, is eligible for a 3% rebate. Those receiving tuition assistance are not eligible for this rebate.
Automatic Bank Payment (ACH) – Payments are due on the 5th or the 17th of each month, depending on the plan selected. An online FACTS Agreement is required. All tuition plans will be charged an annual service fee by FACTS Management ($55 for monthly EFT installment plans and $25 for semester and full pay EFT plans). This fee is charged to all families and the fee is paid directly to FACTS, not FRCS. No exceptions will be made to paying this fee. In the event that the family chooses not to enroll after paying the FACTS service fee, it is understood that the service fee is non-refundable and non-transferable to other children or other fees that are due.
A late fee is charged by FACTS if a payment fails for non-sufficient funds (NSF). FACTS will also assess a return payment fee (RPF) and will attempt to collect again five (5) calendar days after the bank returns the payment. If the second attempt returns, FACTS will assess a second RPF and try a third and final attempt 15 days from the previously scheduled payment. In the event that the third attempt returns, FACTS will assess another RPF and the payment will fall into the unresolved balance.
Once the online FACTS agreement is set up, the agreement will be the same each year, unless written notice to change the payment plan option is given to the FRCS Finance Department.
DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS:
In order to continue attendance, all accounts must be kept current. Students may not be permitted to continue attending school if the account becomes one month past due.
Any check returned to FRCS by the bank will result in a NSF charge to the account.
TUITION ASSISTANCE AWARDS:
Tuition assistance awards are based on your family’s demonstrated need as determined by an outside agency and administered through the FRCS Tuition Assistance Committee. Awards are given on a first come, first served basis with priority given to returning families. Each award is recorded as a discount on tuition and only applies to the current school year. Awards are limited to the availability of funds. New students must have submitted an enrollment application prior to submitting a tuition assistance application. Awards will be offered once a student is accepted into FRCS. Withdrawing outside of the opt out window will result in any tuition assistance awards being forfeited. Families choosing to re-enroll after withdrawing will have to reapply for tuition assistance if any funds remain available.
WITHDRAWAL PROCESS and WITHDRAWAL FEE:
In order to withdraw, families must follow the FRCS withdrawal process found on our website.
If a student withdraws outside of the opt out window (after February 28) the following applies:
- From the end of the opt out period, February 28, until May 31 you will lose your Continuous Enrollment Fee
- From June 1 to June 30, you will lose your Continuous Enrollment Fee and you will be charged one month’s tuition
- After July 1, you will lose your Continuous Enrollment Fee and you will be charged for the balance of the present semester
International students do not receive any refund upon withdrawal.
Requests for the transfer of student transcripts or records during the academic term will be processed only when a student’s account with Front Range Christian School is current. Year-end transcripts will not be sent until the family’s account is paid in full.
FRCS acknowledges that special circumstances may exist that cause withdrawal after the February 28 deadline. Those circumstances are limited to:
- Moving/Relocation away from the area served by FRCS
- Needs of the student can no longer be met at FRCS as determined by FRCS Administration
- Withdrawal at the request of FRCS
- Inadequate tuition assistance award
- Other circumstances as approved by FRCS
MEDICAL INSURANCE:
Parents/Guardians are responsible to maintain adequate medical insurance to cover the student’s medical needs or emergencies while attending FRCS and FRCS activities.
MEDICAL CONSENT and FIELD TRIP PERMISSION:
This information remains on file in our Student Information System as long as the student(s) is (are) enrolled at FRCS.
CHARITABLE GIVING:
Tuition and fees do not fully cover the cost of a private education at Front Range Christian School. Each year, FRCS relies on charitable giving to keep the cost of tuition down and make Christian education affordable to a greater number of families. Charitable gifts to the Timothy Fund are strongly encouraged and, as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, such gifts are tax deductible. Please note: Charitable contributions must be separate from your FACTS tuition payment.
TUITION AND CONTINUOUS ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT:
- I/We agree that the term of my student’s Continuous Enrollment begins with this signed Tuition and Continuous Enrollment Agreement, and thereafter continues automatically through completion of grade 12 or, if necessary, until the official FRCS opt out procedures are completed.
- I/We understand that for families with monthly FACTS payments the Continuous Enrollment Fee will be divided and included in the family’s remaining FACTS payments for the current school year, beginning in March. Families who pay tuition in full or by semester will have their Continuous Enrollment Fee divided and collected over March, April and May through FACTS. The Continuous Enrollment Fee can also be paid in full by February 20 directly to FRCS via check or cash.
- I/We understand that the Continuous Enrollment Fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- I/We understand that a current FACTS agreement is required as directed by FRCS.
- I/We agree to fulfill all financial obligations promptly.
- I/We agree that in the event that our family encounters financial difficulties, we will discuss possible solutions with the FRCS Finance Department and seek information about Biblical stewardship in order to remain current with our tuition payments.
